Pitch your show
Bring your show to PANM Television.
We air and stream programmes made by independent producers, creators and organisations across Africa and the diaspora. Tell us about yours.
What we are looking for
- Television programmes — talk, current affairs, business, culture, sport, faith, lifestyle and documentary.
- Podcasts — conversation, analysis and storytelling.
- One-off specials — events, lectures, concerts and films.
Shows may be finished and ready to air, already running elsewhere, or still an idea with a pilot. A sample helps a great deal.
What to send
The show's title and format, a short description of what it is and who it is for, how often you can deliver episodes, and a link to a sample episode, trailer or pilot if you have one.
What happens next
Our programming team reviews every application. If your show could fit our schedule we will contact you to talk through format, slot, delivery and terms. We cannot promise a place for every show, and we may not be able to reply to every application individually.
Payment
We do not currently pay for programmes or charge to carry them. You keep ownership of your show. We give it a slot on our channel, a page on our site and promotion to our audience.
Sponsors and advertising
You may bring your own sponsor for your show. The rules are these:
- Inside your show is yours. Sponsor mentions, a "brought to you by" line and logos within your episodes are yours to sell. For a show's first six months with us we take no share of that income; after six months we review the terms with you.
- Around your show is ours. The advertising breaks on the channel and the advertising on our site, including your show's page, are sold only by Pan African News Media.
- We approve every sponsor first. Tell us who the sponsor is before the episode airs. We may decline one that is misleading, unlawful, at odds with our editorial standards or in conflict with one of our own advertisers.
- Sponsored content is labelled. Viewers must be able to tell a paid mention from the rest of the programme.
- You are responsible for your sponsor. The agreement, the payment and any claims the sponsor makes are between you and them.
These terms are confirmed in a written agreement before a show airs.
Before you apply
You must own the show or have the right to offer it, including any music, footage and images in it. Programmes we carry are expected to meet our editorial standards. Sending an application does not create an agreement between us; nothing airs until terms are agreed in writing.
